show how spotify can play a role in the car, beyond the traditional commute drive.

expand spotify everywhere to allow spotify play more than just a role in the car. let's make the car synonymous with the spotify experience. let's make a car and creative space made entirely with spotify users in mind.
the car is the most acoustically engineered space that most people have access to + we already spend a lot of time in our cars (18,600 minutes annually!)

apollo is inspired by the 2020 bmw x6 model.
combining bmw's smart automobile technology / design + spotify's intuitive algorithm and audio software, the two will partner to create the ultimate mobile creative space.
rising star search :
10 aspiring musicians from all over the country will be hand picked and given a brand new apollo with the challenge to write, produce, and record their own hit single with the vehicle. during the process they will be mentored by brand ambassadors billie eilish + finneas. contestants will then battle it out live at the apollo showroom in los angeles.

mtv vma's :
apollo will make its first live appearance at the mtv vma's as one of the event's sponsors. the car will be featured on stage + there will be multiple cars on display at the entrance during the red carpet. so that celebs, press, and fans can demo them.
